Atlantic Engine Oil Treatment is a 100% petroleum product containing an entire package of proprietary detergents, dispersants, antiwear, antioxidant, friction modifier, and shear stable viscosity polymer additives proven capable of servicing the lubricating needs of many industries. In most automotive applications, Atlantic Oil Treatment is meant to be a supplement to other oils. It completely adheres to the parts to eliminate the long dry start that can be detrimental to newly rebuilt engines.

Properties:

Atlantic Oil Treatment protects against rust, corrosion and dry starts caused by long periods of non-use. Oil treated with Atlantic Oil Treatment will not run off cylinders and gears. It completely adheres to the parts to eliminate the long dry start that can be detrimental to newly rebuilt engines. The concentration of protective additives to the ratio of base oil is such that the maximum lubricity of oil treatment is attained by using it at a ratio of 20% to 60% with other oils. At this point the entire mix becomes much slicker than oil alone. This reduction of friction allows any machine to do a given job with the use of less energy. This condition also creates a reduction in temperature which extends the life of the oils as well as the seals, bearings and other components.

Recommended Treat Rates:

Heavy Equipment, Trucks, Tractors with sump of 4 gal/15 L or more: 16 oz/500 ml;
Small Engines or Industrial: 1 oz per 1 quart of engine oil/ 30 mL per litre;
4 and 6 cylinder – 4 oz/125ml;
8 cylinder – 6 oz/175 ml.
